Shoot the Breeze: Pineapple Cacophony

From the endless forest of scripture trees, all covered in the ivory ivy of time's filigree, comes the stirring of the Middle Gods, they, the Dixkin, who bespoke the sturdy lands of our wide world. The Gods who followed the Old, those of ...

10 Things Too Many About Beyamor

Yes, the blog you've all been waiting for has arrived. At last, ten things about Swishiee! Once you're done with that, feel free to wander back here, though I wouldn't encourage you to read the blog itself. It takes some weirdly intimate...

Shoot the Breeze: The Feed

Occams "I sure hope he's okay with me using this picture" Electric Toothbrush. Good god, that's more than enough blog writing for tonight. Jesus. Okay. There's words down there somewhere. All yours. Go get 'em. Are they edited? Pfft. Pfff...

Shoot the Breeze: I Hesitate To Explain

It is irrefutably impossible to look cool while carrying groceries. Trust me. I've thought about this long and hard, run through countless simulations in my head. Crunched the numbers. It can't be done. The optimal situation calls for a b...

Shoot the Breeze: All Dressed Up and Nobody Cares

It's been some time since I wrote, hasn't it, dear reader? I hope you enjoyed the reprieve, but I fear the spell of serenity has been broken, the guileful spiderking of indolence fought from his keyboard throne and the cobwebs dusted off ...

Shoot the Breeze: Oof

This...this feels strangely familiar. Have we done this before, friends? Some time, long ago perhaps? Back when young Time mewled alone in the crib of the early cosmos? Been a dicking long time, is what I'm trying to convey. Some busine...

Punch contest; get code.

Happy Friday boys and babes. I may have misplaced my avatar. Such is things. Well, this is my last weekend of drinking away the all-encompassing loneliness and in celebration, Notch is getting married. So that's pretty rad. Hey, who want...

Shoot the Breeze: So Goddamn Dumb

[As a preface, this isn't exactly a review. At best, it's a collection of thoughts and stories I needed to share. At worst, it's a collection of my thoughts and stories. Make of it what you must.] This weekend, I dove into Two Worlds onc...

Thanks to Corduroy for the blog title. Alright everybody, let's- Hey. I know it's been a little while. Don't look at me like that. Come on, it's not like I meant for us to drift apart, I've just been busy is all. You ever have to take six ...

Groundhog Day: Holes in the Ground

Fitting, I think, that my musing about a game I keep coming back to concerns one I've already brought up once or twice. Not necessarily because of the recurring theme of, well, recurrence, but because I'm something of a hack with no qualm...

Shoot the Breeze: Beywatch

Much love to Rex for the title and Law for just being Law. I wrote this blog listening to Margo & Nuclear So And So's. I recommend you do the same. Not, uh, the part where you write this blog. I mean, that's an out-and-out terrible idea....

Shoot the Breeze: Coolio Cooly Cool

Thank you, Xzyliac, Occams, Law, Corduroy and Mana for indulging my desperate bid for title tweets. Special thanks to Xzyliac for the current title and Turtle for "Much Ado About Muffin," because Jiminy Cricket, that is wonderful. I can'...

Shoot the Breeze: All Hail Rex

Thank you, Rex, for a title so profound I can't believe I haven't been using all along. Fantastic mention to Turtle for ""Uncertainty: The Might-iest of All." Listen, it's about time someone was upfront about this. Unclogging a toilet su...

Shoot the Breeze: Pillow Talk

Thanks to Corduroy Turtle for this week's title. I'm playing around with my Windows task bar. Right now it's on the right side and hidden. This feels unintuitive, but so utterly made of future. If I can adjust, I feel that this will pay ...

2010 Sucked: Writer's Block

Beyamor, baby! Bey. Beyamundo. Mount Beyamor. Was that last one a play on Mount Rushmore? That was terrible. That physically harmed me. Beyamonster. Beya- Listen, anonymous second party, I've had a long day and these people just want t...

Shoot the Breeze: The Negazone

Well, my sexy, sexy people, how are we all doing this week? Bursting with vim and vigour and veal? Grand. Let's roll right along. I have no idea what to write about this week. I want to do video games, I do, but I can't think of a thing....

Shoot the Breeze: Now With Hovercars

In two hours, I have to eat, pack, shower, catch a boat and maybe, just maybe, blitzkrieg a blog. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Before we collectively shudder and shriek at the muse-spiders shoo...

hurgleburgleChristmas

Couldn't sleep last night. Hate-wrote the following. Don't know if it makes sense. Bye! ============================= Starring levelly at the elderly and altogether frail woman before him, as he had been doing for several minutes now, M...

Shoot the Breeze: Beyamornings?

Burn. Bro. Man up. Fratboy slang makes me giggle. I love it. It's like it's the skanky girl at the party checking out my tribal tattoos and bafflingly angeled hat because she's had too many Growers Ciders and too little love from her dad....

Shoot the Breeze: A Lifetime of Accomplishment

Heads up America, tomorrow I can drink in you. Ah, the dusty trail of my filth-encrusted keyboard. Time to hitch up the olí blogging wagon again and set out again. As youíll quickly infer, this particular trek is flavoured by a liberal d...

Shoot the Breeze: Slacktivism and You

Yo. I love you. Not in an Iím-dying-and-these-are-my-last-sentiments kind of way, itís simply been too long since I woke up beside you and whispered those words in your ear. Wow, thatís a bizarre way to start. Welp, stream of consciousness...

Shoot the Breeze: Red Eyes and Ragged Blogs

Donning a shirt fresh from the dryer is the closest to plucking apparel straight from the tree that a man can get. Gah. Whoída thunk it would be such a big deal to pass a few little bytes from one computer to another? I miss the internets....

Shoot the Breeze: It's Snowing!

So many coins line my pockets that New Yorkís fairest maiden quivers in her emerald robe with jealousy for the copper I carry. Internetís down again and I sort of donít have a blog for you, per se. Per se. I do have something of an experim...

About Beyamorone of us since 1:10 PM on 06.24.2009

Iím a gamer. Take a minute and get over that shock. I can say Iím an Xbox man, though Iíll support anything that advances gaming (I love you Sackboy). Iíve also got a DS Chunky, so I can take this whole nerd thing on the road.

As far as genres, shooters and western RPGs top my list. Halo, Fable, and Morrowind, for instance, rock my socks hard. Of course other things, stuff like Animal Crossing and Kingdom Hearts, do their share of stocking rocking.

In the world outside of buttons and pixels, Iím an engineering student (that nerd thing I mentioned? I do it hardcore) on the west coast of the Great White North. Iím a fan of a harder rock, bands like Breaking Benjamin and Hurt, though Iíll kick it (very much figuratively) to stuff ranging from The Fray through Franz Ferdinand to Five Finger Death Punch. Optimus Prime is my hero, but I do love Starscream. Finally, thumbs up to you for reading this. Youíre never getting that time back.
