Considering tackling Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker, but hesitant due to the massive time commitment. Is it worth it?

Wind Fish defeated! Er, I mean, awoken. Which means, of course, that Link's Awakening is finished! More in the comments.

Starting to grow bored of Link's Awakening. I'm at Level 7 Eagle's Tower, a confusing and annoying dungeon! Am I close to the end? Is it worth persevering and trying finish it?

Today I went the entire day without any Coronavirus news. I feel like a winner.

Link's Awakening is fun, if not great. It's my second top-down Zelda ever, the first, and better of the two, being A Link Between 6.5.

I seem to have a bacterial infection in my throat, which naturally happens at the worst possible time, because of course it does.

I'm happy to report that Dtoiders are NOT liars and Titanfall 2's campaign is pretty great.

A lot of you have sung the praises of Titanfall 2's campaign. I hope you weren't lying to me!

Whoever said "may you live in interesting times" likely never expected things to get this interesting. I really miss boring and mundane.

Just finished Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. It's cute, charming, and great for short sessions or when you need a break from another game you're committed to.

It's been a while since I posted a fitness update, there wasn't much to update, but now I feel like I reached a major milestone: the mythical 6-pack. Seriously, there are really 6! I can't believe I made it this far. I thought only people on TV did that.

Achievement unlocked: spread the ashes. Like a lot of people, I was skeptical of the new God of War and came away utterly impressed with the final product. Easily one of the most incredible games I've played in recent years.

What did you fine folks play in February? Which was your favorite? How many Western and how many Japanese? I played more games than in January despite no longer being on vacation because January was almost entirely eaten up by Red Dead 2. I finished...

Finished New Super Luigi U, a precious relic from the long lost Year of Luigi, also known to average humans as ”2013”. Like NSMBU, I played it back then on another forgotten relic called "Wii U", and now again on the Switch. It's great.

Taking a page from Steel Squirrel, how many Western and Japanese games did you play last year? I just counted mine, and I was actually surprised by the results. I thought it would skew a lot more Western. Turns out the score was West 19, Japan 13.

It's becoming abundantly clear that extreme measures to "contain" the Coronavirus are about as effective as containing the Flu. It's time for governments to abandon that fool's errand before doing even more harm. It seems we'll just have to live with it.

Finished New Super Mario Bros U again after 7+ years, this time on Switch. It didn't get much love back then due to the double punch of 2D Mario fatigue (Nintendo released 4 in 5 years) and the Wii U failure, but I think it's great and gorgeous.

500 deaths in Stupid Ori and the Stupid Forest. I'm probably close to the end, trying to escape the "fire temple" after freeing the fire element. Worst part is, when you die in this sequence, you have to do the whole damn thing again.

Damn, I didn't know Ori and the Bljnd Forest was this hard. I've died 229 times as of this writing and thought about rage quitting more than once. In fact, I'm considering it right now.
