My professor asked our class a pretty solid question the other day, and I’d like to hear your opinions. Would you rather fight 100 duck-sized horses or 1 horse-sized duck?

I’m back on the blog promoting train, so write some dang blogs! (I’ll go into details about the kinda stuff I’m looking for in the comments)

Nior wrote a really dope blog that y’all should read. I really like it’s hook. I’ll post the link in the comments.

Almost finished with season 1 of Mob Psycho 100, and it’s really great! Took a few episodes to sink its teeth into me, but I am now 100% in it for the long haul. This that good shit.

The Outer Worlds was a good time, but the ending scenes resort to the same bullshit, still-scene montage copout that’s been around since Fallout 3. That super sudden, feed of text, “use your imagination” fluff should have been abandoned back in 2008

This is still my favorite opening to any TV show ever.

Kevin Mersereau's favorite games from 2019

Twenty-nineteen was a hectic year for me. I’m a 32-year-old full-time college student, and I just wrapped up my first semester at a four-year university, chasing after that ever-elusive bachelor’s degree. Obviously, this impacte...

After years of trying, I finally managed to get my hands on this. It’s a reissue, but it’s better than nothing and sounds great! They’re a scrappy pop band with a punk mentality, from back in the late 70’s, and they’re one of my favorites.

Based on the memes, I thought I’d hate Baby Yoda/The Child, but they are awesome. Occams was right. The Mandalorian is very good. As of Episode 6, it’s easily my favorite Star Wars entry since the original trilogy.

I finally watched Joker, and it was pretty fantastic. As an extension of the Batman canon, it was damn near perfect. Really surprised me.

This is the only version of Freebird I get down with...

Fendibull, an old head Dtoid user, reminded me how amazing Ariel Pink is tonight. This whole album is delightful and worth your time. This song, however, is that fucking good shit.

Found this album, still sealed, for crazy cheap yesterday. Love me some Country Teasers! They’re a solid mix of Devo, The Fall, and Oblivians. They’re a bunch of degenerate assholes, but goddamn can they ever write some good tunes!

Disqus is being fucky right now for me too, Reaper. I can’t even log in. I’m sure it’ll be sorted soon enough.

Review: Frog Detective 2: The Case of the Invisible Wizard

Frog Detective 2: The Case of the Invisible Wizard is the sequel to the greatest video game ever to feature a frog, who is also a detective, in the history of the human race. Until now, that is. As of December 9, 2019, there’s a new c...

The Shape of Punk To Come is a landmark album for me. It’s one of the only modern screamo/hardcore bands I still listen to. I got into it hard when I was like 14, and it led me to dope stuff like Wire, Minor Threat, and Fugazi. I owe this album a lot.

Bloggers Wanted: The Fam

This edition of Bloggers Wanted is going to be focused on video game “families.” We’re steamrolling ever-closer to Thanksgiving and then onto the hell month that is December, culminating in yet another reason (aka Christma...

Review: Guildlings

Guildlings is a game that just launched on Apple Arcade, and it’s got a whole lot going for it. Through a mixture of RPG, point-and-click, and visual novel mechanics, it tells the story of a young girl who gets her first phone. Only, ...

I’ve probably posted this here before, and I will almost definitely post this here again, but Magic Sam is just stupid fucking good.

Does anyone here want a steam key for Frog Detective? It’s super short but wholesome and good.

I spent Halloween getting wasted with friends, and this is the aftermath...

If you’re looking for something a bit different to watch for Halloween, The Battery is really solid. Dudeman starred in, wrote, directed, and filmed the whole thing himself for around $10,000. It has some flaws, but the payoff is 100% worth it.

This whole record is really neat. Probably the closest thing to a proper successor to the R&B throne since D’Angelo.
