Lately I've been too busy adulting for games or gamedev, but yesterday morning I was miraculously able to beat TWO games! Oceanhorn: it is like topdown Zelda but worse, still pretty fun! Lovely Planet 2:incredibly fun and cute, better than the original

Me: hey, you're looking really sick. Like, really awful, holy shit. I'll take you to a doctor tomorrow after work. My partner, with a really hoarse voice: nah, it is not as bad as it looks.

At first I was baffled about how Valve was apathetic towards Epic's competition. But they surprised me with their latest sale, and it is nice to see both companies putting some serious efforts at trying to piss off developers more than the other one!

Now I can technically say that I've worked on a commercial game, and by "worked" I mean "spent only a few minutes translating the menus to portuguese". It is a sequel to a game I enjoyed a good bit that looks adorable, sounds great and was hard as heck.

Also, while I had a good fun playing TF2 and Stardew Valley yesterday,I did play those mostly to get some Steam Grand Prix quests done so I could grab some extra coins for the R$10 discount. But the quests bugged and didn't count and I needed 650 coins

Good: yesterday I was able to play some good gaminghours, and I haven't done this in months! It was fun. Bad: but it was due m partner and my baby being pretty sick, and I definitely would rather them to be healthy than play games :|

I forgot that today was the last day to get the super cheap Xboxflix thingie, but at the same time I'm almost sure I won't have time to play those games. Also, the regular price here ins't bad at all, so will maybe try it during my vacation time later

Since last week I've been doing 1~2h of overtime, but starting today I'll be doing my regular shift, hooray! Still working on my prototype, been able to do two 15 minutes gamedev sessions a day. Next step will be to add buttons and shooting!

The baby is asleep, time to prototype some shit

Today's Steam promo haul. Bought it all with Steam Cards money because I'm a cheap bastard

About the Steam Grand Prix thingie: I've joined team turtle because Corgi seemed overwhelmingl too much popular and also because I'm an idiot, apparently

Wasn't sure which game I should play next after fiishing Kero Blaster, and don't wanna play Borderlands 2 solo, so I guess I'll be playing not-Zelda next!

Someone got older today and we celebrated by making sugarless oatmeal banana pancakes. I'm not sure, but I think he liked it!

Hey, sup guys, what did I miss yesterd... HOLY FUCK PHANTASY STAR ONLINE 2!?!?! HELL YEAH! HOPE I CAN PLAY ON THE NA SERVERS! AAAAAAAAAAAAAH PSO2 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Coworker: I wanna invade the government databases so I don't have to pay taxes. Me: I would love to see you being arrested for that. Him: eh, the sentence is 1 or 2 years in jail, it isn't so bad.(he also is an ancap and said h1n1 was made in labs)

Fun fact: Darksiders Genesis is called Darksiders Mega Drive outside the US.

Me: hey, I've been managing to trim down my backlog quite nicely lately by playing short games in small sessions. Spark 2,Kero Blaster and now I started playing Katana ZERO. This feels nice. Also me: *buys The Handsome Collection super cheap*

Second confession: Wed's weekly collection of games looks like it is totally the kind of article I love, but I still haven't read any of these because apparently I'm a monster

Confession: I've been playing Kero Blaster this weekend, and I suspect that I'm enjoying it more than Cave Story. Not sure yet.

Coworkers are talking about "polemic" and "politically incorrect" stuff here. Feels like I entered into a hell portal and landed inside 4chan.

Was going back to work after my lunch break, then I found this blocking my path.

Good morning Dtoid

Slowest day ever at work. Saw a coworker using an overlay for Pokemon Go and decided to try it. Ended up scanning and sorting the moves of every Pokemon I had with over 2k combat points.

Spark the Electric Jester 2 micro review: liked it less than the first one, but a lot more than the Adventure games. Meh combat, fun platforming, updates have made it even better. Disclaimer: I don't like the Adventure games very much.

About SrChurrosone of us since 10:08 PM on 02.07.2012

Hello! My name is André and I live in Brazil. Currently I'm a System Analisis and Development student and I'm a hobbyist game dev (current status: life block).

My love of games comes from when my parents gave me a Sega Mega Drive when I was 4 (i think). My mom still regrets this decision to this day.

Love all consoles equally, but my current game devices are a trusty 3DS and my ok-ish laptop (at least it was a neat machine back in 2014).

Dango made me a list with my very favorite games ever (thanks a lot dude!):
