Longing Log Update: I woke on day 71, which is shocking. I did the sulfur thing and found Mattock #3. It took so long. On his walk back, I left to watch a State Lt. Gov. Debate, because I'm a dweeb. The candidates were also dweebs, but more powerful ones.

Anyone else play the Scarlet Nexus demo and think: Others, huh? So we're an Other Suppression Force? So it's time to marginalize and repress these guys? Guess they can't have rights? Hmm...

I beat RE8 last night and was hugely impressed. It maybe my new favorite of the year, or at least tied with Hitman 3. I wish the middle 2 dungeons were a bit longer, and that is my only complaint.

Longing Log Update: Woke up from my nice bed on day 155 and I finally did the map thing. Really feels like I'm making progress.

Longing Log Update: Decided to check in on my little project. I finally got the last piece of wood after doing the mushroom thing and the darkness thing. Finally, I can make a bed! Maybe I can finally sleep comfortably now.

I had RE8 good and downloaded, but just one problem: CrossCode is too damn good to stop playing. I can't believe this was a crowdfunded indie. It's a freaking great action RPG.

If I ever do something to hurt y'all or make you feel unwelcome, absolutely say something. I may not like it, but screw my feelings if I don't. Ohana means we fight sometimes.

Just finished the Invincible finale and appreciate your support in this difficult time. I mean, holy fucking shit! Good stuff.

I finished Observation and it was amazing. My only complaint is that navigating the station is a huge pain without a map, which they will make you do a few times. But I am now hype for whatever No Code does next.

I've started playing Stories Untold after owning it for years. This game is awesome, man. I hope Observation is this good, because I'm going to try it after this.

Longing Log, Day 15: A new path in the mines has really opened things up. We've got some new mushrooms now. Also, I have sulfur now. It's taking longer to travel to these farther reaches, though.

Longing Log, Day 14: I finally have another pickax. Exploring the mines now. Love having more to do, but the king will not like this adventuring spirit of mine.

Did somebody say post metal? Sure can! Frozen Crown just had a massive roster change, but the sound is still there.

Longing Log, Day 9: Ate a mushroom, no effect. It's Puddle Day! New area unlocked! I finally got into the library. I have a lot of books now. My dude is locked and loaded for some serious waiting.

Longing Log Day 8: Lost my pickax the other day trying to break the impenetrable glass. Thankfully, I was able to enlarge my cave by a ton before it happened. They did warn me. At least I only have a few days left until the next area opens.

Longing Log, Day 6: No changes yesterday. Today I finally unlocked another area. At long last I have a pickax, aaaand my dude has no upper body strength. Apparently he needs oodles of time to harvest even 1 crystal. Good thing I have it. Yay?

Longing Log, Day 4: A new area unlocked, but only a small one. But it does introduce a sorta cool thing. My music is not actually improving yet. Read some Poe. Forgot how much fun Cask of Amontillado is to read.

Longing Log, Day 3: Came back and the clock advanced from 398 to 395 days since last night. Furnishing the room makes quite a difference. And the music I just made is a little better. The walk-to-room feature still incredibly busted and rarely works.

Came back to The Longing today to find the clock advanced while I was gone. Thank. Goodness. I was worried people would need 3 years or something, b/c the clock only moved while the game was running.

I'm going to jump into The Longing blind. If it's the greatest game ever made I'll see you all in 400 days in real time. Time for some virtual waiting!

Happy Birthday to Destructoid: still my favorite form of social media. Thank you all so much.

I just want to gush about how freaking clever and cool Loop Hero is. I keep finding more weird combos and odd rules and I'm increasingly digging what this game is putting down.

See what happens when a furry spends almost 10 years making their dream game from scratch, in Dust: An Elysian Tail. It's crazy how good that combat can be. #indietoid

I love that whenever people mention Tron Legacy, people are like yeah, Daft Punk and The Dude sure made a good movie. I think some other people showed up too.

For how much the first time through made me rage, I've gotten so much out of repeated runs of the Berlin stage in Hitman 3. It really gives you a long leash to mess around.
