999: The Novel is a Choose Your Own Adventure book


Should have charged nine dollars

What really is a game, anyway? This is a question that bothers a lot of insecure people with insignificant things to argue about.

Actually, when 999 came out on iOS in Japan we learned it had removed the "escape the room" puzzles, so this new, $5 release isn't a surprise. If you can't track down the DS original, this is an okay substitute, I suppose, though people have varying opinions on how integral the puzzles are.
