3DS surpasses 10 million sold

Nintendo hardware sales up 100%

Nintendo sends word that Super Mario 3D World and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds helped push up hardware sales. This makes sense to me as both titles are in my top five for the year.

Hardware sales for Nintendo are up 100 percent over last month, they say. They moved 770,000 3DS systems in November, which put lifetime sales over 10 million. Congrats, Nintendo!

This beautiful thing helped.

The Wii U increased sales by more than 340 percent over October. Again, Super Mario 3D World is fantastic. It sold more than 215,000 units in the first eight days. If you haven’t played it yet, do it now.
