Out in 2020

[Update: You can find the first footage below! It clocks in at a little over a minute and will once again focus around All Might and Izuku Midoriya, with some fresh new faces from recent arcs and a "Plus Ultra" mechanic.]

My Hero Academia is still immensely popular, and for some, the current "it" anime. Bandai Namco naturally tapped into that opportunity with a major arena brawling game, and that series is set to continue with My Hero One's Justice 2, debuting in 2020.

Set after the events of the first game, the sequel will be released on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch, and will feature teams of three duking it out. The first teaser is actually a teaser, giving us zero gameplay but Bandai Namco has explained to Destructoid that it will be playable at New York Comic Con this coming weekend at booth 515.

My Hero Academia is heating up elsewhere, as the manga is getting ready to jump into a new arc imminently. The anime also just ended its third season, which a fourth season in the works.
