'Tremendous fan support' could mean Toonstruck 2

Toonstruck was a mid-'90s point-and-click adventure game starring Christopher Lloyd and a bunch of cartoons. You might have heard of it. What you might not know, however, is that the game's sequel -- which used a significant amount of cut content from Toonstruck -- was never finished.

It gets weirder. Toonstruck's music director Keith Arem holds all of the necessary rights to release this content in an updated version of Toonstruck that would "include the 2nd half of the game [for] iPad, online, etc." Problem is, he "would need tremendous fan support to justify its release."

Naturally, this statement has caused a few online petitions to pop up. It almost goes without saying that so far, support has been anything but tremendous. Honestly, the only way I can see this working is if Arem gets the original Toonstruck up on digital distribution sites (all of them) to grab our attention first.

I'm not much into adventure games myself, but I am always willing to support the underdog. Plus, this would make for one heck of a tremendous success story. Let's make it happen.
