Seriously, I would hug the woman from MS who helped me. Ever since I got a surprise call from a few weeks back I've been in love. Not really, but anyway the woman was very nice, a personality trait I'm not used to seeing in my experiences with Microsoft employees. Then again, she works for MS corporate so she probably makes a bit more cash than those lowly Xbox Live Support mutants you speak to when you call 1-800-4MYXBOX or whatever it is. I'd probably be in a better mood right now if I worked for MS Corporate. At least I'd be sitting at work instead of home.
So, I finally got my power brick and my copy of Blue Dragon
, which many Dtoiders have told me is a bore and a waste of my time. Whatever, I enjoyed the little bit I've played so far. How bad can it be? It seems like a highly typical JRPG but that's not so bad. It's still got good production values and a seemingly interesting story so far. We'll see. I've been more concentrated on Soulcalibur 4
lately. I'll give you my thoughts on that game in another blog. I do like it though, if that means anything. But Yoda is broken and The Apprentice is kind of cheap.
Back to Xbox Corporate, I got a surprise package in the mail yesterday. I have no clue why they did this, but I received a second
power brick and wires to go along with it. I guess it's not another free game or anything, but at least I don't have to worry as much should this bullshit happen again. Hopefully the newer model power bricks are more reliable. Any of you guys know? Anyway, have a nice day Destructoid. I'll probably be blogging again later on at some point.
