Life changing events and what they mean to you.
Well, I'm both overjoyed and sad to report that I'm going to be around a lot less soon.
I was offered a job today that has a REALLY nice pay raise over what I'm making currently doing roughly the same job I do now. (The specific industry falls somewhere squarely between a career in cattle slaughter and pre-moistened tissue manufacturing)
What this means is that the Japan Blog will likely be shuttered for awhile, as will my presence in general around dtoid. As soon as I get back online, I'll be on, I'll be posting for sure, but it won't be nearly as frequently as it is now.
The benefit in all this is that my new employer is handing me a small wad of $20's with each paycheck so that I can now go to strip clubs on a daily basis instead of previous trips which were taken bimonthly.
In turn, my new job is helping to not only to allow me to stimulate the economy, but myself as well.
On the definite plus side, I call dibs on hosting a NARP in Texas sometime later in the fall. I think I'll be able to handily label it as "EPIC" when it all goes down.
I start in two weeks.
Once I get situated in my temporary place after I move, I will definitely be back online for FNF.
