This is a video I just came across on Nintendolife posted on YouTube by Pixelacos Gameplays.
Basically, hacked Switch units can be rigged to enable graphic effects options of Witcher 3 on Switch. In the video, blur, bloom and motion blur are turned off with sharpness turned up to show Witcher 3 looking a lot less blurry on Switch. The improvement in visual quality is immediate. Why did Saber interactive disable these options in the Switch version is beyond me but after seeing the video, I decided to not buy Witcher 3 on Switch in its current retail state. If Saber Interactive adds those options in a future patch then I'm all in.
Now that I'm thinking about it, Warframe on Switch allows to disable key visual effects options which result in a much sharper, cleaner looking game especially in portable mode. I really can't imagine who thought it was a good idea to have blurry Witcher 3 on Switch as a retail default that can't be changed.
