I'm just throwing this out there and I know this probably won't be popular with most people, but I don't like Easter eggs. I really don't like them much at all. I'm talking real Easter eggs and also video game Easter eggs. Don't like either of them. Sorry. I know alot of people love both kinds, but it's just not for me.
First off real Easter eggs. This brings back horrible memories as a kid of Easter egg hunts where I was always too slow and couldn't get the eggs. Little Dere is walking around with his pink Easter basket (yup it was pink, hand me downs are great) with not a single egg in it. While next to him little Johnny who's not so little and probably doesn't anymore chocolate has eggs pouring out of his basket and he's stuffing more down his shirt and in his pants. I took solace in the fact that hellh probably end up with diabetes.
When I think of Easter eggs it just reminds me how I was just not great at these childhood games and they aren't great memories. Fast forward to video game Easter eggs and I just don't like them. They seem pointless. Ok I found some random computer or sign that throws a call out to some other game or movie or some such. I just don't get the appeal. Not to mention I just don't seem to have time for that stuff nowadays.
I'm not saying people shouldn't be excited for these things, bit it's just not for me. But if you like it, keep having fun all. Blog time!
* - I may not be a dad, but I am old so I get a lot of what Spielerdad is talking about with this blog. He takes a look at his thoughts and views of games. With his age and dadness has come video game strength. He has the power!
C - Hypno and Bass tag team (so freaking hot) a community giveaway. Also Amna and Panda are in in this now too. There are mystery games, gift cards, Dark Souls 3, etc. Just comment who your favorite waifu is and why and you're entered with a chance to win. The obvious answer here is Tae Takemi
S - Gamemainiac3434 talks about history and stuff. Stuff that's really old. In actuality I love this blog as I really love history. He also takes a look at some of the virtual playgrounds, video games, portray and fit together history. It's good stuff peeps.
T - Ahhhhh the 1980s. Colorful pants, big hair, and the decade yours truly was born. Indeed a wonderful decade. Flegma also gives us a reminder that video games were around then too as he takes a retro look at Sky Jaguar
Just remember, he who stands on toilet is high on pot--Dere
