In light of recent news with regards the new 'updated' 360 HDMI, 65nm chips as standard, OH NOZ!
ive been left in a situation where advice from you guys would be appreciated.
Basically i was planning on trading in my original launch xbox 360 (its already gotten the RROD and been refurbished) for an elite on August 24th, the European release date, because i have a feeling its going to break on me again (getting ALOT of disc unreadable messages, not covered with the new extended warranty) and besides i love HDMI and could totally use the extra hard drive space now that they've announced that the video marketplace is coming to Europe also.
But, heres the problem...The newer, soon to be released 360's with the HDMI, bigger hard drive and new smaller processors will be coming out also, no set date though and the worst thing i could do is buy the new elite system in two weeks and then realize that it didnt have the new processor and heatsink. Is it ok to assume that the new European elite's will already have this, or is there was a way to find out, perhaps emailing Microsoft?
Any advice about this would be grateful, im pretty sure ive missed some kind of announcement about this probably and one of you guys maybe picked it up. Regardless thanks anyway.
