For the new year, I've decided to set myself a challenge. Way back in the mists of time, I used to write reviews for a now defunct gaming website. However, I've been trying to get back into writing and have for a while, been writing reviews and articles - some on Destructoid, some elsewhere. However, when I wrote for the website in question, I had a word limit, something I haven't been applying to my recent writing.
So, following on from a suggestion on another website, I'm doing to set myself a writing challenge. I plan on writing at least one 50-word review a week. Each review will contain no more than 50 words, the challenge being to sum up the game, in 50 words. I'm posting just one review to start off with, but may bundle a few together in future. I'll still be writing other articles and reviews, but in those I'll also be thinking about economy of words.

Undertale:
Undertale is a massively entertaining role-playing game that does something genuinely different with the genre. It's highly replayable – messing with your head on later playthroughs - and features characters who are so endearing you'll be glad that pacifism is an option. Heartily recommended, whether you're an RPG fan or not.
