Ok, I am SUPER excited for the PS Vita. I don't own a PS3 and will not be able to "transfar" but well, who cares. I am stoked for this device. The fact that I can possibly play older PS1/PS2 games, all the PSN stuff, as well as iOS / Android games on it, whichever it is, is amazing.
I have no interest at all in owning a cellphone. I will definitely not but a smart phone ever, because from what I've seen most people with smart phones become stupider themselves, because the phone now does all the thinking for them. The fact that I can play games on a telephone does not excite me in the least, but those same games available on PS Vita, as well as high budget sweet PS Vita games, man, that is exciting. There is also the fact that there is a new cellphone / smart phone available every month which is more powerful than the previous. If I want to have the latest tech, I gotta buy one per month basically. Not happening. Imagine your Xbox 360 or PS3 had a new more powerful model each month, but when you buy one you also have to have a 2-3 year contract.. You would always feel like you can never have "The Best".
So the Vita is about a month away right. Time to start saving up, yes? Actually.. no. It's not. Not according to SONY!?
If you see the link above, you will see that they are already talking about the next PS Vita design. One that will most likely be far superior to the release Vita. So, I will not be buying a PS Vita as I had been planning for over a year. I will wait until later models come out.
But wait a second.. if nobody buys the 1st release of the Vita will they still release the better model later? I have no idea. But why would anyone in their right mind buy it now, when they are already talking about the next model and IT ISN"T EVEN OUT YET HERE!.
Sony, I glad you want to make it better and better.. but maybe you should have waited a while to mention this, like say maybe a month or two after the release of the version 1.0 or whatever it is. I am an exclusive Xbox 360 gamer. I actually HATE the PS3, and will never buy one ever. But damn Sony, you have me jumping for joy at the thought of the PS Vita. I am not even a big handheld gamer but this device is like a dream come true for me.
.. At least it was until Sony talked me out of buying their product, and that I should wait for the real version later..
