When Final Fantasy XIII was first announced in United States, at the 2006 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3)
there was a ambivalent attitude with some of the reviewers with the game's story and linearity compared to previous games in the series. But soon after release date Final Fantasy XIII sold over 1 million copies of the game, and because of this was easily considered one of the top games of 2009.
For creator Hironobu Sakaguchi
of the Final fantasy series wanting the story to continue with Square Enix dropping a bombshell in January 18 2011, they had announced that we can expect a sequel to Final Fantasy XIII title with a release set for some time within the following year in Japan, as well was reveled at the Square Enix 1st Production Department Premier in Tokyo, Japan was a teaser trailer and a logo of the upcoming game. The North American as well as European releases are set to be seen on store shelves of winter 2011.
But will the up coming sequel the the well proclaimed series be another top selling hit?
With the continued series having developers using Crystal Tools Engine
as was used in Final Fantasy XIII we are undoubtedly excited to see the games remarkable game-play and cut scenes graphics. The game will take place after the the events of Final Fantasy XIII, though we will see the sequel having a darker story then the first release Light as well as some of the other main characters will be returning, and new characters will be introduced into the storyline as you play through. Final Fantasy XIII-2 can be seen as another top seller for Square Enix
with improved game-play graphics and a more developed story line, hopefully though we can look forward to a less linear story in XII-2 then was seen with the first game.Overall Final Fantasy XII-2 can be said that it is a game that is worth the hype that is set before.
