C-Blog Interviews: Nic128

   0
I'm feeling a bit down and this interview really put my spirits back up. Like you, when I get these, it's my first time reading them as well, so I enjoy these as much as you guys do. It's not like I've been imitating the way you guys write and then pretending to do interviews...ha...

Right, so I received this in my inbox yesterday...night. I was going to post it up then, but I was a bit tired so I put it off. No offense to Nic, I just couldn't find the energy to do it. Also, I sent this interview out a month ago so interviews are still on a temporary hiatus.

Anyways enjoy!

Fuck, why didnt I check sooner?

Sir, you've been with me since the very beginning, and I would love for you to be interviewed.

ME?!! Im relevant? Wait, Im not dressed properly.

How did you get into blogging, and why here?

Im sorry; Im still putting my pants on. I ended up reading the c-blogs, and some of those blogs were AMAZING, probably Beyamor or Kauza. The comments were a mix of creative debate and lulz. The cool thing is: as long as you put effort into it and not just trolling, you will get a positive response. I then tried talking about a few subjects. I realized I didnt have the writing skills in a foreign language, so my attempts are few and far between.

How did you get your name and avatar?

Nic128: Part of my name combined with the power of the Gamecube attached to it. Avatar: Nylen Fedrock is Yuri and Flynns mentor from the Tales of Vesperia prequel movie. Yuris cool attitude comes from him. I respect this man. {Law's Notes: I thought the avatar was Scar from FMA}

If you could call a country your home, what country would it be?

Canada, home of many winter Olympics gold medalists and countless summer Paralympics gold medalists. Whats up with that?

Favorite game? I know you have one.

Ocarina of Time: I played this game so many times. It was perfect, huge, magical. I have the gamecube ports. (Master quest disc + collector disk) The 3DS version has me stoked.

Favorite Movie Line

Dude, wheres my car? - Dude, wheres my car. Stupid, but effective.

French-Canadian? How's Quebec? Heard its lovely.

My experience with Montreal is separate from where I come from (Beyond the mountains, Saguenay). So, in general, hockey crazed maniacs with a welcoming heart. Also, the diversity of cultures makes a rich heritage.

Remember the Gamecube? Me too, what was your favorite game?

Even with Twilight Princess being my favourite, I really want to give a shout out to Tales of Symphonia who really blew me away and introduced me to a wonderful series. Ill be learning Japanese soon. Thanks Namdai, for ignoring the fanbase.

One word to describe yourself.

Klutz.

Tea or Coffee (or other).

Neither if you would have asked a few months ago. But now, I like tea. Apple and cranberry, yummy!

If you could punch anyone here on dtoid who would it be and why?

The trolls / fanboys. My brain melted so many times reading Fanboy Friday. Kids need to grow up.
Kraid. We havent made a NARP yet.

If you could hug anyone on dtoid who would it be and why?

Im guessing peoples appearance is based on the avatar they have. So, Handy is a soldier, Bakewell barfs rainbows, and Kraid is black. Id go with Lenigod. He is a puppy. So cute. ^___________________________^. Also, Chad Concelmo because his articles bleed happiness.

Occams and Stevil totally have a "thing", who else on dtoid do you suspect have "things".

Elsa and Moongoose. I think theyre having an affair.

When I grow up, I want to be....

Im still searching. My journey doesnt have a goal yet.

Now that I'm old I can finally...

Be the wise one, though its a work in progress. I act like a kid, and I make my own money. I do whatever I want. A snowman on a second floor balcony? Thats a thing I do.

AWWW YEAAAH, Never too early to start thinking about Christmas, want anything?

Simple. Spend a sweet holiday with my family. And Donkey Kong Country Returns. Bitches love DKCR.

If maybe I told you that you might just have one day left to live what would you do?

It would probably be an Armageddon. I would transform into Superman and save the day. The keyword here is would.

Do you have a Prized Possession? (Note: Family and Loved Ones Do Not Count)

My increasing collection of Fullmetal Alchemist mangas and dvds. I love that series.

So, you're on a sinking boat and there is one life boat left. There is a young woman, a child (gender neutral), and an Old Man...What do you do? (Note: Not who do you save...you could, just you know....what do you do?)

I take a paperclip, an elastic, and build an helicopter to rescue everyone.

I don't want to ask another question, you ask one...also answer it.

If you could go back in time, what would you do?

I would meet my younger self and prevent him from wasting money on terrible games even if other says theyre great games, like Baten Kaitos, or Darksiders. Rent it godammit.

This blog is about interviewing members of the Destructoid community. If you think someone deserves to be interviewed, please contact either us via a PM to this account, or our private ones, if you feel so inclined.

The opportunity to be interviewed does not necessarily depend on amount of time spent here, number of published articles, etc. - only if our interviewer or a separate nominee thinks you have something really interesting to say.

So, if you think someone else out there could use a little community shine, speak up and let us know! They could very well be the next victim interviewee!
