Adventures in the Amazon (& GameStop) Part Thrice

The Slims cord for the power brick is also different than the original.

And that's it for the comparisons!

-Should I Buy The Slim?-: I believe if you still own any iterations of the original Xbox 360s (Arcade, 20 GB, 60GB) and are considering getting this, DO IT! It is well worth the price. Youll no longer have to worry about running out of space, its a faster console performance-wise, and it just looks sexy. However, if you own an Xbox 360 Elite (120GB, 250GB), its really up to you. If I personally had an Elite system before the Slim, I dont think I would have made the purchase. It all depends on if youre able to afford the new console and if you really think everything I explained above appeals to you. If so, then go for it. If not, then you still have a great console.

Well that pretty much wraps up this post. Ive got my new games and Ive got my new console. I hope you all enjoyed this post and I hope my impressions didnt bore you. Thanks for reading!

About SteezyXLone of us since 12:03 PM on 03.26.2008

HELLO there!

The name's James and I'm 24. I reside in the beautiful Bay Area in California. I've been gaming for as long as I can remember. Being a 90's kid, I of course grew up playing the Sega Genesis and NES being accompanied by Sonic The Hedgehog and the old school Mario Bros. I had so many games for my NES up until my NES broke and my dad decided to give the games away since I was busy occupying my new SNES. From there I pretty much owned any system that Nintendo made and enjoyed my childhood as a natural born gamer.

I now own all three consoles and try to be open-minded when playing various video games. Expect to see me write about my experiences with video games on this here blog!
