Randy Pitchford from Gearbox did an interview in Sydney recently and let slip some mroe tasty nuggest of info on Borderlands. You can
read the full interview here, but I'll summarise some cool points:
The game will feature a function that will allow you to export a JPG of any gun you find which can then be uploaded to a community website that will allow you to compare stats. Awesome. Considering there's going to be a shit-tonne of guns in this game, I can't wait to show off all the tasty kit I get. Anyone up for making a Borderlands trading card game?
The game isn't using Games For Windows Live. Hooray!
Mod SDK at launch? Not confirmed, but Randy seems keen on it. One thing the PC version will have is a demo benchmarking tool. Which is rather cool, as HL: The Lost Coast has been my bench marking tool for a while, but it's not really up to it now.
Borderlands is looking like a great, fun game. Blasting through this is going to be one of the highlights towards the end of the year I'm sure.
