What are they 12?
It makes it worse because Nimblebit is comprised of just 3 people, yet their game looks better than the giant team Zynga threw at their copy.
Sure, there are graphics, and sounds, and music, and pixels. But where is the gameplay? You just touch a couple icons when you're told to.
Jim's argument, IIRC, is that Gameloft is somewhat ok because Nintendo and Sony (for Gameloft's Zelda and Uncharted copies, respectively) refuse to put their games out on the mobile platform.
I didn't agree however - copying is copying IMO, and Gameloft has gotten more shameless lately with "Modern Combat": especially since Call of Duty is actually on mobile platforms now.
He did start changing his tune eventually though.
Fuck you zynga, hard, deep, and nonstop.
Wait, so the developer of the plagiarizing game is calling out the hand that feeds them? Better re-write that.
What do you know? That game was ported it iOS aswell.
Not as stylized as other Tower games but the OG certainly has its appeal. Since it is borne from an Elevator Simulation program its stressed vertical logistics a lot more than others.
Let's get some confrontational journalism, complete with hidden mics and everything! Go, go Tara!

I agree. after building my tower to 49 floors, I was aware the whole time it was not a game, per se.
The only thing it shares in common with a "game" is the fact that its purpose is to serve no purpose other than entertainment.
my (heavily researched inarguable and iron-clad) personal definition of a game is as follows:
- The player can die / be reset somehow and lose progress for failing a challenge
- there are challenges that are presented that get more difficult.
- The player needs to hone a skill or strategy for completing goals
- the player's choices make a difference in the outcome (can be as simple as a high score or "ending" the game)
Sure tiny tower meets some of these requirements, but hardly all of them
it's a clicking simulator
From what I understand, Tiny Tower plays much differently than Sim Tower, while Dream Heights is practically a reskin of Tiny Tower.
THEY PLAGIARIZED THE GAME THAT WE PLAGIARIZED OFF ARMOR GAMES!
