Agreed with D Sane, game looks bland and dull as hell.
Does it amuse anyone else that this trailer is capable of showing off all the information of the tablet and TV on one screen, with plenty of room to spare? Considering how simplistic this inventory system is, it could easily be adjusted to traditional console experiences with a D-pad controlled HUD.
The design of this game looks incredible, but every mandatory tablet feature looks detracting, distracting, and disappointing.
Looks boring? Well what is it SUPPOSED to look like? Call of Duty? It looks to be an ACTUAL slow paced survival game, just like Resident Evil used to be back in the day. I was under the impression that gamers were yearning for that gameplay again.
The multiplayer will most likely be a lot faster, too bad we haven't seen that yet.
The game offers PLENTY that can be considered novel, be it the location, controls (which look like they'll be easy to adjust to), the fact that it's a sandbox permadeath (not co-op) zombie survival RPG game.
The closest games to this are what? Dead Island? Day Z? The game does plenty to separate itself from the (non-existant) horde.
I see no reason to dismiss this game so easily. I'll be waiting for more information.
It's gonna be hard to find that many guns in London I'll tell you that much.
It's melee focused survival game based in London that is primarily based around exploration and solving puzzles. Show me a similar game, because I would love to see it. Popular mechanics does not equal similar gameplay.
As for the game itself, it looks more like someone at Nintendo decided to hodgepodge together a mutant baby from the first Left 4 Dead and single-player Dead Island, but without the level up system or multiplayer.
It may be a decent play, but hey, I've got L4D2 and Riptide to keep me from buying a Wii U.
