Everyone's favorite decidedly weird, indie first-person brawler Zeno Clash is getting a dash of downloadable content this weekend, along with a lovely little promotional deal for players who have yet to experience the game.
The DLC, titled "The Pit," brings three new challenge levels alongside Achievements, and of course online leaderboards. Developer ACE Team says gravity plays a large role in these scenarios due to crumbling, deadly floors, and the trailer after the break pushes the idea even further.
As for the aforementioned promo, Zeno Clash will indeed be half price during this weekend. No specifics were mentioned, but I assume the offer applies to not only Steam but Direct2Drive as well.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied: "bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

Oh nice. I beat all the normal challenge levels, happy to see some new ones. And I would assume D2D would be half off as well, because I think that just basically gives you a key for the Steam version, lulululul.
It's a nice game, well worth the money, specially if you like psychedelic rides. The story is VERY screwed up and the art style is, while sometimes disgusting, sometimes amateur, very unique.
I like to think of it as Roger Dean meets Syd Mead, both impregnant the same woman with bivitelin twins of different sexes who procceed to have children with each other. Having no source of food, they're obliged to eat one another. The surviving one is left in a wasteland for 20 years, then receiving a pen and a sheet of paper. His drawings would pretty much represent the entirety of the game's artistic view. THAT screwed up. Don't get me into the story. Creepy stuff.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

Also, it offers the best first person melee ever.
I have been on the brink of buying this game but haven't in hopes that it would go on sale.
I will definitely be buying it this weekend!
