Zen Studios has announced today that its bringings its kickass pinball series, Zen Pinball, to the Nintendo 3DS via the eShop this fall.
Call Zen Pinball 3D, the download will feature four tables: Earth Defense, Shamen, Excalibur, and Eldorado. The title will feature support for online leaderboards, table rankings, a mission system, and local hot seat multiplayer. Oh, and it'll be in 3D. Of course!
The teaser trailer for the game shows off some of the familiar tables, which has me pretty jazzed as I'm a huge fan of Zen's pinball titles. It might not be the system seller like Mario Kart, but it's certainly one of my most anticipated 3DS games for this year.
Zen Pinball was pretty sweet (from the demo I played on the PS3), so this has to be just as good, maybe a little better since it's portable and downloadable.
Cool, so are they going to have more downloadable tables, in the future? I don't even want to know, how much I paid for all the tables on Pinball FX 2 on XBLA. I still have to get the Ms. Splosion Man one. I probably spent more on that downloadable game, than I would of on a full $60 retail game, but it is well worth it!
