Zelda: Twilight Princess Wii speed run: Done in 44.5 hours faster than you photo

While some many complain that new games are too long and involved, a small elite group of gamers are burning hundreds of hours ... to ironically figure out how to beat them in one sitting. The majority of speed runners we've covered in the past stick to retro classics and use PC-assisted emulation, so it is with great admiration (and erections) that I present to you a mad man's five hour Wii rush: The Jiano vs. Zelda: Twilight Princess speed run. The completion time? A crazy 5 hours and 39 minutes. Remember when Reggie said this game would sink 50 hours? Ha!

Great idea! Take the one decent game the Wii has and make it shorter. Brilliant!

I hate long games. Some of us have a life outside of videogames and it usually suffers when a long, addicting game out.

The game took me 80 hours because I wanted to get everything. But this speed run thing.... THIS IS MADNESS!!! (Someone better finish this >_>)

I believe it was George Harrison, not Reggie, who said it would take 70 hours, not 50, to complete. Obviously, the amount of time will be shorter if you know where everything is. The video shows a speed run done by someone who has already played the game and knows where everything is, not to mention not getting all the heart pieces, poes, bugs, etc. While 70 hours might still have been a bit high for most people's initial play-through, it was dead-on for me.

I'm not going to watch this. I'm just gonna go sit in the corner and wonder why I spent so much time on this game when I should've beaten it in 6 hours or less.

...oh yeah, it was fun. That's why. :)

My first run through was roughly 35 hours. And some of those hours were spent looking at the environments and wondering how they made everything so damned big.
