Are twovideos within a month not enough? Well, third time's a charm! Take it and love it!
This here is a nearly two-and-a-half-minute extended Japanese trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. It features a bunch of footage we've yet to see, featuring the Spirit Temple, various bosses like Volvagia, etc. Also, CHECK OUT THAT SICK FRAME RATE! Like buttah!
Americans must wait until June 19, Europeans two days earlier, before our 3DS's can get their Zelda on.

Meet the rest of the team
Even with the touchup time has not been good to that game.
I'm not sure what's worse to be honest: Nintendo assuming gamers are gullible to rebuy a 13 year old game from the ass ugly days of 3D at full price, or the swarms of gamers that bitch about Nintendo abandoning the "hardcore" but will buy it anyways. It just validating their business practices of trotting out a Mario/Metroid/Zelda to bring all the detractors back into the fold.
Yes I know I'm being a negative Nancy about this, but I'll stick with my collection disc that game free with Nintendo Power, thank you very much.
I'm trying to be negative about how people are paying 40 dollars for an old port and this is only going to perpetuate the flurry of remakes and ports on the 3ds, but it still made me excited
Are they using music like that in-game? Probably not, but if so HOLY FUCK. I don't know why they spend so much effort on orchestrated trailer music for Zelda games and then not do it for the game itself. Anyway, I'm one of six people who never played this the first time around so I'll definitely be picking it up.
Also love how they worked in the treasure chest chime when he pulled the sword out.
I don't have a 3DS and don't plan on buying one, but surely anyone with a pulse got just a little overexcited when the Hyrule Field theme kicked off at 0:24?
Really wishing they had at least bothered to update the midi instruments if they weren't going to replace it with orchestrated music or anything. This version of the game looks great but sounds awful in comparison.
I haven't touched this game since I beat it when it first came out, I'm quite excited, if only for the fishing minigame. I could spend hours doing that.
If you think this looks anything like the original Zelda, then you don't remember the game at all.
As for the "OMG its so old" argument. Why does it matter? The game is awesome. Even if you don't particularly like it, that doesn't make it a bad game. Hell, there are some games today that can't boast OoT's amount of content and design work.
Plus, you are forgetting about kids who are only about 10 years old themselves. They mightn't have even heard about OoT. If I was a parent I'd buy this for my kid in a heartbeat.
Nah lets all act like a bunch of cynical cockgoblins instead.
Oh it's a full retail release? Well that's killed the slightest bit of interest I had in the game. I only remember getting to the Hyrule Field and then getting bored.
I am excited for this. I didn't have the original, or the system it came on... so this is going to be a lot of fun for me.
People who are getting all huffy with regards to it being a re-release: Please remember that there are people born and grown in the 10+ years that it came out. What is wrong with them getting a chance to play it?
Most of you maybe think this is overrated, but I didn't saw anything about Zelda on 3DS because had the wrong idea that as just a port of a game I've played. How stupid that was, with the thoughts of today I forgot what is a game, something deeply enough to feel stupid when you judge by scores and ratings, seeing this trailer to know what was the fuzz about I remember playing this for insane hours, and after finish the mark it make on me, this trailer made me drop one tear and remember, why I like games indeed.
Although I am not a super fan, and I feel as if the 3DS needs more than a 3D rehash of a N64 game to get my money, I am happy for all of you who are looking forward to this. I hope you all enjoy it, and I think it looks much nicer than the original, although the graphics do seem a bit "early" ps2 for me. Not that graphics matter, but I would think they would want to put out the best possible version... or it could be that the video resolution sucks... that being said.. anyone have a link to the HD version?
Ye gods, I forgot about that horrible shrieking female laughter. Grated my nerves every time. Also, does anyone know what that creature was around the 0:35-0:38 second mark? I don't remember that, drawing a total blank, unless it's something new.
Does anyone know if the music in that video is strictly music like we see for most Zelda trailers, or as will I hear that somewhere in actual game-play?
It's a rehash to many of us, but it's brand new to a whole generation of folks too young to have played it, or who haven't previously owned a Nintendo console. I love that companies are doing this type of thing. The PS3 is my first Sony console so rereleases have allowed me to experience lots of good games I missed earlier....and God of War which doesn't fall into the good games category.
I'm surprised that no one really notices this, but the frame rate seems to be a bit high in all these videos. All the cut scenes seem to be speed up considerably compared to the original...wtf, am I going crazy? haha
Wow the day Ocarina of time gets a meh is the day I realise I dont want anything to with gamers of this generation. I'll stick with my mates. Fuck you all you spoilt bunch of wankers.

Man, I wish this game (and all games) would just forsake art direction and appeal and instead opt for a super HD anti-aliased mess of bloom lighting and normal mapping so that I could get off to how much the game pushed the hardware while ignoring that it looks like a horrible mess.

You're entitled to your (rather textbook) opinion, but your naive if you think people won't buy it.
Because trust me, they will. You know how the 3DS is selling less than expected right now? Wait till June 17th.
Also love how they worked in the treasure chest chime when he pulled the sword out.

But seriously, that trailer was very hype inducing. Only a jaded hipster *cough* Cryotek *cough* or sub-HD zombie would think otherwise.
I Wonder how large the 3ds sales spike will be.
*continues to play collection disc*
This trailer was unreal, I'm so excited for this game!
Please stop playing video games if you really feel that way.

That's the only reason I haven't preorderd yet, was waiting to see if any would pop up.
I love Zelda, but my version(s) of OOT are fine and I don't support remakes so won't be buying this.
Bring on the Skyward Sword, and I want an AWESOME trailer (NO MORE BOTCHED DEMO'S) come E3.
No the graphics aren't that great. I guess that's just what they wanted to do.
@evilguy12: You got bored of a game you didn't even play. Nice work. Your logic is infallible.
SO DON'T TELL SCOTTY (G)
