Zelda Marathon in progress, do your part to help a good cause photo

It looks like those big-hearted guys and girls who helped raise close to $12,000 dollars for the Child's Play charity last month with the Mario Marathon are at it again.

This time, they've teamed up with Cameron Banga and the Four48 Team, with 70 hours of Zelda goodness. Although the festivities officially started on Thursday night, there's plenty of live-blogging and Zelda playing to entertain yourselves with. A quick peek shows that they have raised over $1,300 so far, and are currently working their way through The Minish Cap.

Still left on the itinerary is the classic, Ocarina of Time, along with Majora's Mask, Windwaker, and the Wii favorite, Twilight Princess. If your feeling charitable (it's for the chilluns!), and want to learn more, head on over to the Zelda Mario page yourself -- and prepare to drop some cash on a good cause.

[Thanks, Puppet]

I watched their very first Zelda marathon.
They just wanted people to donate money for pizza, and decided to give all the extra dosh they got to Child's Play.

I don't think that last zelda marathon was for charity, i think it was just some gamer trying to get some internet cred or something.

@Rainbow - Kaspar is right, they originally just kinda put it up in hopes they could get people to pay for lunch but then they got way more than they anticipated and donated it to childs play. Stand up guys I'd say.

I'm sad I missed Link to the Past :(

Shameless bragging: I was the one to suggest they donate the extra cash, originally they only did it for pizza money, when they got to much I emailed them saying they should donate it...just sayin'

I want to see someone do a Sonic marathon of all the main titles up to 360 just so I can relive the glory days of the 2D era and get to see the 3D games without having to play them.
