To me, Super Smash Bros Brawl is what is going to finally make me buy a Wii. I have literally spent thousands of hours playing Melee and the original so I am a very hardcore fan of this series. For the most part, Smash Bros. DOJO has just been slowly teasing us with items, the battle stages and lots of random nonsense. So to for them to finally reveal a new character is very exciting.
Sure, Zelda isn't exactly new since she was in Melee, but none the less it is big news. As for how Zelda will handle, Masahiro Sakurai has this to say:
Her movement capabilities are not that good, but her magic adds power to her physical attacks. There’s a reason why her hands and feet glow, after all.
So she's going to basically play the same as her Melee version. The big question on everyone's mind now is will Zelda be able to transform into her alter ego, Sheik. I hope so, Sheik is my best character!

And YEAH ZELDA. Assuming she can turn into Sheik, that is. I definitely like her new outfit...looks more regal.

Oh by the way I havn't played Twilight Princess yet so does Zelda have brown hair in that one? I always thought Zelda was a blonde in all the games.
As for the topic at hand, Zelda in TP had a sword and the light arrows. I think that could make for some cool gameplay additions to make up for the potential lack of Shiek.
If they are going to be taht true to TP, I wonder if Link will be able to turn into the wolf?
I wonder if Gannondorf will have the hasidic curls and the big sword?
sheik looks like a man. being good is not enough reason to use that version over the epicsexy that is tp zelda
Anyway, Deus... my point was just that a lot of rookies prefer sheik... does not mean they can beat me! ^_^.
Except for my old roommate Ryan. If he was Marth, he was good but I could beat him sometimes with Fox (another beginner's character, admittedly) and sometimes with Peach... but if he was Sheik I could only beat him like one match out of ten. This was after he spent months practicing with Marth, Sheik was just a random pick one day. Maybe this demonstrates her natural advantages? Or maybe he was just better at Smash than me. He was.
For me, it's always been Samus. We go way back. :)

If someone is kicking your ass with sheik you should switch to somebody else.
That's the mark of a good player.

And some others I can't remember.
You have to switch to have fun and kick some ass.
P.S this is my favorite version of her yet .
