Maybe Halo 3 will be good . . .

if,

dual-weilding is gone because showering people with high volumes of low damage firepower doesn't feel rewarding at all. Yay, bullet hoses.

The Arb. is gone, because his levels were tedious, and his storyline was total garbage. Sacrifice continuity, and just drop him.

Brutes are completely different, didn't they even admit during the new brute documtentary that their design as a tactical adversary was regrettable at best. Plus they look like big hairy turds. Because I'd rather not spend time jumping over next-gen raging terds like a matador on the moon.

Remove the lock-on system from rockets, honestly if you can't aim well enough to hit things with the splash damage, then play something else, why not include suicide booths and save yourself the trouble designing both lock-on rockets and vehicles. Plus wouldn't the addition of a guidance system make it a missile launcher instead of a rocket launcher.

Not going to mention the horrible last stage and ending. Oops.

But probably the easiest fix. Try to remember that unlimited sticky grenades is a luxury that's easy to incorporate, you control match making so it's not like they will pop up and ruin your ranked gameplay. Let people be free to strech the rules on their own terms with a long list of extra multiplayer options, that won't dilute halo multiplayer, it will extend the playability.

Hopefully the story portion of this will be up to Halo 1's standards.

The second game was shite.

A 3rd installment of the most overrated FPS's of all time. Second was Golden Eye. Seriously, I never heard of a single PC gamer like Halo enough to live the hype. Sure it's an ok game...but I guess some never played quake 3 that came out 4 years before lol. Heck, Doom 1 is a much better game overall then halo 1.

When you view the new Halo 3 video on Live you can see that the graphics look great !!

They begin by showing halo2.. they show Halo 3 about half way through the video.. and you're like "Wow.. very close to Gears graphics !"

But seriously, the game is fun for me and that's all that matters. If you like it, play it. If you don't like, don't play it.
