The above work-in-progress rendering was sent in to us by Jamie in Japan, a videogame art director from Genius Sonority who empathized with my plight about Ryu's package, but noted that his friend also gave Zangief a sizable a third-muscle. He writes: "The penis problem still remains - Must be an artist thing." (Sidenote: Why penis why?!!!) Despite his horrifying trouser boulder, the unfinished rendering already shows promise -- it retains its anime style while showing off some next-gen polish. If Ryu's Street Fighter IV model is any warning of what's to come, we can't help but wonder if Capcom's upcoming Zangief model will have an even larger baked potato.
