YouTube has listed a job position for a software engineer that will develop versions of YouTube to work with next generation consoles. Under the listed responsibilities we find that they're looking to "build the next generation game-console-based TV experience with YouTube video content," whatever that means. At the bare minimun it looks like they're working to get YT on all game platforms as they're asking for applicants with technical knowledge of the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii.
I adore YouTube and am all for enhanced experiences on all consoles and devices. Let's hope that their new efforts aren't as restricted as current offerings are.
