It's been called a gigantic mouse, a pregnant wii, and the new MAC. But what is it really? I wish it was a fuzzy logic Japanese rice cooker/Xbox 360 combo, but it's just a concept replacement chasis called "Ovo" by Zoozen. Don't get too happy in the pants yet -- the project is currently vaporware in consideration for production. I'm torn between calling it slick ... or completely generic and vapid, devoid of any unique branding not stolen from competing products. Ok, I hate it.
While it may make for 1337 coffee table conversation, we are curious if it solves any of the design flaws of the current console (overheated rice, anyone?) or if it opens up a new can of worms. Cooling is very important for a happy 360 and there are no facts on how this concept addresses that. As a red-ring of death veteran myself, I'm not going near any mod that isn't suitable for sustaining Knut.
Recommended for Zen buddhists, kitchen queertoids, and IKEA cult followers.

When I first saw that last week I thought it was cool looking, but the more I looked at it the more it resembled some stupid aftermarket piece for the undercarriage of your car.
In any case, I'd rather have the guy who keeps making pocket consoles design something like this. Better than an Eggsbocks.....
