You should watch this Earth Seeker video
An intro trailer for the intriguing Wii game Earth Seeker has arrived, and I would say it's worth checking out. It boasts a rather cute art style that hides the game's grim post-apocalyptic scenario, and the character designs are quite a bit of fun. Earth Seeker is a game in which humanity's home planet is destroyed. Civilization packs Earth's greatest treasures on a giant spaceship and evacuates, but crash lands on a hostile alien planet. As the spaceship attempts to terraform the new world, its original occupants put up a fight. It sounds like a unique game with loads of potential, and this video ticks all my boxes. I've added this to my ever-growing list of Japanese Wii games worth looking out for. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)This does really look pretty neat. Cool premise. The music sounds alot like Pokemon though, haha. Just some of the melodies, especially towards the end of the trailer. It's more lifeless than I was expecting from the lively concept art but nevertheless I still want it. I don't think it'll be that good but it looks like an okay bargain bin game if it makes it to the west. Hmmm, hope it's not another Monster Hunter. Not that I dislike monster hunter, it's just that we already have it. Interesting premise, definitely something you wouldn't expect from a Japanese developer. I'll remain skeptical until I hear more about it though. The framerate seems a little sluggish though, hope they can fix that. Otherwise, the game looks very interesting. Thanks for the video, Jim! Wow. They blatantly ripped off Phantasy Star Online. The story, enemies, and weapons are all wayyy too similar. Let's hope they do something good with the concept. Lord knows Sega has no idea how to handle it anymore. I put far too much of my life into PSO, but I'm still interested in this! You know what my favorite thing about the Wii is? I've yet to play a game with next-gen brown in it. Kinda getting a Spectrobes/Enslavedvibe from this game, might be worth checking out if it comes to the West. I hope it comes out in English. I like the graphics, and the drawings I've seen so far of the creatures look great. Like some people have said, I just hope it's not Monster Hunter. Monster Hunter is fine, but I don't want every game to be Monster Hunter. I'm really hating these publishers right now. So many good Wii games that aren't coming out to the U.S. but the only way to get them is if I mod the Wii. So to do something legal I have to do something illegal. Such bullshit. 3:30 PM on 06.19.2013 Japanese artists think Wii Fit Trainer is smokin'The fourth Smash Bros. was only announced last week, but fans the world over have already contributed a wealth of art based on the three new characters.
