I have zero interest in any of the "attention-grabbing" games listed. The only one that even comes close is Epic Mickey 2, still zero interest, due to my excitement for Power of Illusion on the 3DS.
So far from what I've seen from WayForward's take on Double Dragon, I cannot find myself supporting the title: it simply looks dreadfully bland. Two of my friends are big fans of the original Double Dragon, but I haven't told them about Neon for their sake.

I played Double Dragon Neon at PAX East and it was a lot of fun. Felt like classic DD to me. Don't knock it till you try it!
It could come out the same day as the second coming of Christ and I wouldn't forget it.
I've been waiting YEARS for a new Double Dragon game. And this remake is the closest I'm going to get, so I'll take it.

Even if it came out during Shooter-fest, it wouldn't be a problem. Never liked Call of Duty, and I still haven't picked up Halo Anniversary despite wanting to play it. Something tells me I'll probably do the same thing for 4... especially since my friends are going to get Call of Duty and want to do nothing but play that non-stop. I also won't be getting the Wii U at launch thanks to Nintendo showing me the error of my ways after getting a 3DS at launch... and I never played Epic Mickey 1 so I won't bother with 2.

I'd also like to add that the games $10, if big release titles are getting in the way of buying a $10 arcade game, you weren't probably going to buy that $10 game in the first place.
the demo i played at PAX east was kind of bland. like the fighting was so basic its like i was playing the original final fight. needs more streets of rage 2/3 influence as far as attacks, varied enemies, weapons, and level design
I'll hold off on judging it until I can try the demo, but I have not been impressed by the screenshots at all.
Talk about alienating any potential dormant fanbase... going to play some SNES DD and see how it holds up.
Just played DD 4 and 5 (snes)... awful. Also went back and played the first 3 on NES, not so great either, i think James Rolfe must have really been pissed when he had to play these shitty games. Its not the first time ive revisited the franchise, i looked at the original arcade games last year and i cant believe as a kid i actually enjoyed the first game, its so god damned slow, but hey i guess its like playing Yie ar Kung Fu, it was all we had at the time in terms of fighting games/beat em ups.
