Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

You're going to want to hear this Zelda tune backwards

3:00 PM on 11.02.2013

Back when it was discovered that the main theme for Skyward Sword was actually Zelda's Lullabye rewound, my mind nearly exploded. The Zelda series has always had some of the most memorable melodies in gaming, but to think one of its catchy new tunes was a classic song from Ocarina of Time played in reverse.

Well it appears Nintendo is up to some of the same tricks for this month's 3DS release A Link Between Worlds. YouTube sleuth WiiC24 has captured the latest trailer's music in reverse to discover another little goodie that is sure to get that nostalgic blood flowing.

Wait for it... yup that's the Hyrule Castle theme from the A Link Between World's Super Nintendo prequel A Link to the Past.

Pretty clever, or pretty lazy? Either way it's pretty amazing.

Link runs into a wall: Link Between Worlds story trailer

Lorule. Get it? I'm still curious when and why Nintendo decided to lift the stick to walls mechanic from Sideway New York. Not that they've lazily infringed, or anything. It just seems like an arbitrary rider on a bill. Mayb...more

Namco has made another Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures

Coming to PS3, 360, Wii U, and 3DS this fall, a sequel to "an emotionless venture that's devoid of any soul or effort." I guess Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, which is based on the new Pac-Man television series, did well enough to warrant a sequel.more
