You might want to sit down for this: Mega Man 9's packaging photo

People who didn't grow up in the NES era are going to look at this and say "That looks like SH*T". Technically, I guess they're kind of right. Luckily, old folk like me know that the look is quite intentional, and that to see a company with the guts to release a game looking like this in 2008 is the sexiest thing I've seen all year. I love you so hard, Capcom.

Sadly you can't technically buy this packaging, but Capcom whipped it up to send their pals in the press as a promotional tool. In other words, as soon as I finish this post, I am going to get my car and drive to Nick Chester's house, hide in his bushes until UPS comes, and beat the everliving Christ out of that delivery man and steal the package. If Nick tries to intercept, I'll destroy him too. DO YOU HEAR ME, CHESTER?

I thought one step ahead of you. Currently on UPS plane, searching for package. It won't ever reach Mr. Chesters residence. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

But seriously, I want to do dirty things to that box. It's probably a good thing I won't get one.

It turns out there were too many hurdles to go through to get actual nes cart working, which made me excited that they were considering it. Also, I think everyone is gonna start killing each other until were all dead and the last dtoid member has this case.

I don't think I've ever seen a company truly "get" the fans of it's game like Capcom does. All the little touches like the optional authentic glitches and this amazing packaging really shows how much they care. Major props to them for this! ^_^

I'm having second thoughts about contacting Capcom for a Mega Man 9 press kit... because I don't want Colette to kill me if I get it.

I may be 15, but Im black, so I already have inane skills with fucking shit up, intentionally or unintentionally. I learned from Sam Jackson, so you can count on me Mr.Chester!

In real news, that looks so cool for some reason. Capcom should really make that a limited edition release for the public. That would rake in millions for them.

I don't even have words to express the awesomeness of this. If they put these on sale it's going to be so cut-throat.

I just hope they don't all get snagged by assholes who only want to make a profit on ebay :(

Ok, go to the capcom board. They will be releasing a limited amount of these to the public. 200 to be exact. But I believe there is a big enough uproar to get a full release of this. I know petitions don't work, but dammit, everyone should sign up on the capcom boards and say that you would buy it...
