Have you ever been in line at Starbucks and wondered how talented the people around you were at Angry Birds? Well, first off you need better things to daydream about, and secondly, you're in luck! Rovio is reportedly talking to the coffee conglomerate about placing Angry Birds leaderboards in their shops with the hopes of helping build brand loyalty and provide an incentive for playing the game while sipping on coffee.
As if the over 250 million people all over the world who have purchased Angry Birds and are completely engrossed in it 24/7 isn't enough, Rovio's Wibe Wagemans is hoping the leaderboards will "[tie] in the real world with the virtual world." It'll be interesting to see how it all works, considering that Angry Birds is pretty much on every platform ever; how will they get scores up on the same leaderboard from all the different platforms?
