Maybe they'll reward you with the actual in-game shit we used to get before they started selling it instead and giving you "pat on the back" points in their place.
Xbox Rewards is kinda worthwhile, I got like 500-800 bonus points for doing very little. Maybe filling out one or two surveys, or buying a certain thing during a promotion.

Earned about 1800 Microsoft points from rewards. Just doing a survey every month, renewing live and buying games. Totally worth it. Now maybe my gamer score will finally get me shit!
giving people 5% of their gamerscore as microsoft points would still net me over 1200 pts so please encourage Microsoft to do the right thing :D
Get enough achievements and they'll send you a mysterious crate with lord knows what type of goodies inside. Love that header. :)
Rewards is great. Free points + minimal effort = worth it. Although I've not received my rewards occasionally, like my free game for referring a friend to go Gold. Can't complain too much though.
I feel slightly justified now in my hunt for pointless points. Hopefully 56,000 points will get me something.
It probably won't be retroactive so don't get too excited of you have tons of achievements. I still haven't gotten XB Rewards points for using Netflix and I use it everyday.

I'd be happy for anything really, Microsoft points, Avatar items.. Coupons for cake.. Whatever makes my achievement hunting (which I do any way) mean even more then just a fuzzy feeling, I'm certainly not going to be too picky about what they give us.
Either way, I guess it's good I got in on the Live Rewards thing on the ground floor.

Yes, very much so.. It honestly takes a bit of time to work up your free points from the survey (its 1 survey, once a month) before they get dumped into your XBL account (They dump the points in every 100pts you earn), unless your a lunatic about buying stuff and reupping your account, in order to get back more from it, but free points are free points.. Since I started it back when the program launched, I've made about 1000 MSP, which isn't a whole lot but thats at least a single game I got for free.
And they away seem to be finding new ways to allow you to earn more points, or get refunds or something.. So its not a dead program, they really do seem to be looking to find something fair for both parties, which, you know, is an odd occurrence for Microsoft.
I've also gotten a few free avatar items from them for being a member, including a pretty neat Halo Banshee Avatar toy for my mini-me to play with. So theres that too.

Is this Microsoft's way of announcing that the next Fable will make good on the claim that one's Gamerscore would affect the power of one or more of the weapons in the game? If so, too little, too late.

Yeah, so far I've gotten 1720 spacebucks since the project's deployment, and the only major difference is taking part in their user surveys which is like a minute a month.

Neat. Expanding rewards programs is always a good thing. Hopefully they do the right thing and offer up cash (or MS moon money anyway)
It's not going to be Microsoft Points because then everyone would REALLY start to get aggressive with the Achievement hacking. And Microsoft is well aware of how many people hack Achievements and is not about to them free MP. It will probably be things like Avatar items that show off your Achievements in some form. Maybe any time you get all Achievements for one game, you can get that game's box as an item your Avatar holds. That way, people who genuinely earn Achievements can feel rewarded while people who hack don't get anything that makes it worth hacking.
This is pretty cool. I'd be fine with even just special gamerpics for getting certain cheevos, like the 2 you get for beating Mass Effect on hardcore and insanity.
I'm skeptical. If you joined Rewards after purchasing anything on Xbox LIVE, you became ineligible to get the point rebates for buying your first piece of content.
