You got your Triforce in my cutting board photo

I think the primary reason that this gamer creation bamboozles me is that I can count the number of gamers on one hand who actually like to spend time in the kitchen. In fact, the modus operandi of the hardcore gamer is usally to game until stomach pain ensues, at which point he or she ventures to the refrigerator in search of frozen food, pizza rolls, ramen noodles or something edible in a bag. Notice that I said "he or she" above, and am not waggling my finger at the male members of the gaming collective alone ( I too am guilty of the above actions.)

That being said, if you somehow miraculously manage to plow 40+ hours into gaming a week and still whip up meals in the kitchen as well, it may please you to have your very own Triforce cutting board. Etsy user 1337motif created it using walnut and hard maple and will sell it to you for $125 plus shipping. A bit pricey, but seeing as its already a niche item anyway surely the type of person seeking a Triforce to chop onions on will hardly flinch. Get yourself a matching Link apron and you're ready to Emeril.

[Thanks Adam!]

This is a difficult thing to have made, Nintendo fans aren't allowed to use sharp objects.

I think its a damn shame more people don't cook for themselves. People seriously underestimate the importance of a healthy diet to pretty much every aspect of their lives. I actually really rather enjoy cooking, because I can tailor flavours to whatever whims I wish, rather than just relying on artificially flavoured homogeneous swill. But anyone who pays $125 for a chopping board is a fucking headcase.

It needs to come down to a more reasonable price, but I like it. They should realize gamers are going view $125 in terms of our monetary unit -- games(how many new/used games can I buy with this?).

P.S. Pizza Rolls are the worlds most perfect food.

Oh that's fucking sexy.
I'm one of these few gamers that loves to cook more than I like to eat out, so this is just damn sexy to me. Wish it wasn't so pricey though.

I'm a gamer who cooks every night. When you're in college and live in an apartment you can't afford to eat out !!

Cooking is insanely fun and one of my hobbies, but it doesn't affect my decision to buy this, as I would have it encased in glass anyway.

My girlfriend and I love to cook. Although, since moving to DC, we've begun to eat out a lot more. Walnut and hard maple make for a really nice, fast cutting surface, so I would definitely recommend this for anyone who is interested. As far as price is concerned, you can pay $200 for a cutting board at one of those big home stores (Bed, Bath & Beyond, etc.). I would much rather give that money to a craftsman.

Colette, there are plenty of gamers that cook. And you're working with one of the best - Dale North. That man can make a mean dish, and on top of that, he made a cake one year that was the best cake I've ever eaten in my entire life. I still think back on that cake fondly.

But yeah, I love to cook. And not like, "I'm gonna throw this precut, precooked chicken into my Mac 'n Cheese violà I am teh chefz." My lasagna is fucking KILLER. Takes two hours to make and will make your mouth cum.

Would love to have this cutting board.

I actually really like cooking. I got good at it while my girlfriend was pregnant. I'm actually thinking of getting a vegetable garden started this summer, now that I have a backyard.

And this cutting board is awesome, but brad drac is right: anyone who pays that much for it, no matter how much they happen to love video games and/or cooking is out of their minds.

I'm actually a decent desert cook (There's video of me making cakes for cake day on youtube....it's a holiday my friends and I created to make fun of another friend) and I'm really good at BBQ cooking. I was almost forced to, since I'm a scout, so I either learned to cook or learned to eat bad food.

I wonder if this cutting board uses the triforce to make the knife permanently sharp? I mean, it has to grant some magical power right?

I pretty much have to cook for myself, cause I'm a vegetarian. I enjoy cooking as much as I enjoy gaming, I'd say. It relaxes me and I feel healthier eating something that I made myself, because I know all the ingrediants. In fact, I was just getting ready to fire up the crockpot and hit it with a wicked unbeef stew.

I've made it at least 6 times and I never get tired of it - great for those long sessions of SSBB. Here's the recipe:

Hey everyone, I'm the guy that made this cutting board, and I just wanted to say I have put 4 more of these up on Etsy now. Thanks to everyone that thinks this is pretty sweet. I was pretty proud of it. Also, I know it's expensive, but these things take lots of time to make...
