It's like complaining about Jim's Reviews. Dtoid editors are going to post what they want. They're the ones who work on the website and type the articles. While true the site wouldn't exist without us, I highly doubt people "leaving" because of ponies would destroy the very balance of this site.
It would be different if there was a group of poster who spammed ponies and were just destroying the comment sections. Destrcutoid is one of the best site's for gaming because of it's sense of humor.

There might be a pony related article once a week, and that's being generous. When they post something pony related every day or as every article, then I think there would be a reason to get into a fuss about it.
Hell EVEN I (liking ponies and all) would be a bit irked by that.
But in the such moderation they are posted, I really don't see it as a problem.

@Jawmuncher I guess if Dtoid was the only site I visited it'd be OK, but they are everywhere. My next door neighbor is a huge pony or brownie or whatever they're called so I get enough of it as it is. I just want it to stop *goes and cries in corner*

For those of you who dont care for ponies, might I suggest an alternative?
Here are two playlists of videos which list every Nintendo and Super Nintendo game ever released in Japan. They're old uploads, but I'd think people should know about them. Watch them all, spot your favorites and classic western games and have a good history lesson. Having a wikipedia open or some other source of releases is handy, but not required.

On many forums, posting ponies is now equal to posting about religion or politics. That's how you know a meme has gone too far.

There is literally no escape from these ponies for me. My daughter is 3 and MLP is her favorite show. Whenever theres a new episode she wants to watch it over and over. This makes me a Brony by default whether I want to be or not :)
