Judging from this video we were sent, you would not want to be come an EA intern. Insanity, monsters, fire, explosions and...yeah, I see you looking at the perks like Starbucks and an ice cream vending machine that shoots out burritos. But really, you need to pay attention. Don't get distracted.
This video is pretty fun. It's packed with over a dozen WTF moments. It comes from a contest where all the interns from all the EA studios are encoraged to create a video that shows A Day In The Life for them. Plus, it provides you a look at their Redwood Shores location, which is pretty nice. I've been there. Good mashed potatoes. I got lost looking for the bathrooms.

Oh fuck me and my typos...if I were an intern at Destructoid, I would push for editing comments! I would also work for making a quote button with notifications that are send back to the commenter knowing when they were quoted.
Aw man, I was all ready to agree that being a (usually unpaid) intern is a sham that most companies do as a barely legal (which frankly should be illegal) cost-cutting measure, but this was quite entertaining.
Maybe EA doesn't exploit people desperate to get into the industry like some other companies do. :)
Most, if not all, of that was done at EA Redwood Shores, huh? I've been there once, I saw a lot of things i recall from the tour in that video. That big field that was pointed out is the field they include in their sports games.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Also YEAH
WAT!?
