Yet another way to buy

While it's the same thing that Square Enix starting selling on its digital store last year, Final Fantasy VII has come to Steam. Priced at $11.99, this revised version of the classic has cloud saving, achievements, a character booster (don't give in!), and a number of other miscellaneous changes as detailed here.

It's worth pointing out that, like the digital PC edition of FFVII available directly from Square Enix, you will similarly need an account with the company for your cloud saves. So if having to register with Square Enix is enough to put you off from purchasing this, be warned.

Last weekend, Square Enix screwed with its fans with too much pomp around announcing a PS4 release of the original Final Fantasy VII, seemingly a port of last year's PC release. You can get last year's PC release for $12 on Steam, but when Final Fantasy VII comes to PS4 in spring of 2015, it will be $16. I guess that's $4 for "system-exclusive features." The Share button, maybe?

No weak Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo jokes here. This is seriously cool. Dance choreographers Mike Song and Tony Tran whipped up a video in honor of Final Fantasy, dancing to tunes from FFVII and the upcoming Lightning Retu...
It's another videogame-themed episode of Man at Arms. This time, he recreated Cloud's Buster Sword from Final Fantasy VII. I love this show so much. A master blacksmith recreates videogame weapons and then goes around smashing a bunch of stuff. I love it!
The PC launch for Final Fantasy VII has not gone smoothly. It hit the platform last week, but has suffered from a slew of activation problems and missing keys. It's also not available in Australia and New Zealand. Oh, and peo...
