3D Dot Game Heroes is out in May and it's easily one of my most hotly anticipated games of the year. From Software's shamelessly Zelda-flavored adventure game is among the PS3's best looking games, thanks to its bold and colorful art style. It helps that the game also looks to be tremendous fun as well.
I was privileged to watch a demo of the game and my thoughts echo Dale North's in his preview. This title is going to be brilliant. If you own a PS3, this is one exclusive you can most definitely be proud to anticipate, methinks. Anyway, there are a new screens and a Facebook group to join. Have fun!

Sorry, but SO much more can be done with the original formula then JUST purposely trying to clone it (gratz, your Zelda fans, why don't you make a BETTER game then Zelda instead of just trying to clone it?). e.g. every heard of analog? Ya it would be nice to use one in this type of game instead of the limiting dimensions. And what are those horrible speech sounds? Is that meant to be people talking? I've watched just a few minutes of gameplay and I'm already sick of that sound.
And no, I don't care about customising my block character.

Other than those little problems, the game looks like it could be fun. Let's just not assume that it's going to be as magical as Zelda just because it looks the same.
