Today sees the launch of YooStar 2: In The Movies, for Xbox 360 and Kinect. The game allows the players to record performances of various famous roles, which become chopped into the movie itself, making it another game perfect for drunk social gatherings.

The above promotional trailer was shot at Namco Bandai's European offices here in London and I was lucky enough -- I think -- to be dragged along to play dress up and act like a fool for the day. As if my life as staff here at Destructoid and being a midwife wasn't awesome enough.

That looks like it could be fun. Hopefully the scenes incorporate your images well. I think it has to be pretty sharp to pull this off. If it works out the wife would love this; she's a big movie buff.

It's like 54 scenes right? That looks like fun, but if it's only an hour long in total, it might get stale after a week of shifting around in scenes.

I'm sorry, but what kind of a name is 'YooStar'? Was the marketing department made up of 3 year-olds? This sort of thing is why my stress levels are so damned high.

@FK

Calm down mate! You're gonna have an aneurism lol

I think 'YOU STAR' would sound a tad generic.

Wait, so this is Kinect AND PSEye compatible?

Weird, I thought Kinect was supposed to be like a whole different thing to the PsEye.

/jk /jk - This looks mildly entertaining, needs moar Hollie Bennett though!

@DAVYDOCK

I'm only asking the developers to, y'know, make their name understandable.

@ Magnalon

There's apparently 80 scenes and DLC. Each DLC scene runs 2 bucks.
