Yep! Hot off the heels of yesterday's Bayonetta trailer, we have a brand new one for you, this time detailing the infamous "torture attacks" in which our titular heroine humiliates and eviscerates her enemies in all sorts of wonderfully over-the-top ways.
It's a very simple mechanic. Bayonetta earns magic power the more she attacks, and loses it the more she gets hit. When the magic power is full, she can perform a torture attack on an enemy, finishing it off in a fittingly ludicrous and sadistic manner. Simple, yet awesome. That seems to be Bayonetta's mantra.
This game wasn't really grabbing me, to be honest. Ridiculous sexy heroine, over the top action and enemies... still felt like DMC with more constant tits. But this? SOLD. Classic torture devices rule.
It would be nice if instead of putting all of this effort into advertising the game sega used it to you know ..make the game. Or since the game is already mostly localized they use this time to tighten it up. Or delay the game to tighten it up.
fuck..
