Yes, really: Hello Kitty X Street Fighter collaboration
It was teased yesterday in a panel here at San Diego Comic-Con, but now Capcom has officially announced a collaboration with Sanrio, makers of Hello Kitty, Chococat and other ridiculously cute animal things. Capcom says that co-branded Street Fighter themed merchandise will hit shelves sometime near fall 2012. That Chun-Li Hello Kitty we saw yesterday is exactly what you can expect from this collaboration as Capcom says they will sell a broad range of merchandise featuring Hello Kitty dressed in the costumes you know from the Street Fighter world. A release from Capcom says that details on exactly what kind of merchandise we can expect will come at a later date. I'd love to see Sagat Kitty with long legs and chest scars. Did you know? Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)wait, cancelling MML 3 is okay but making Hello Kitty with Street Fighter is alright!?!? Who would want that!?
But would be nice to see a kitty with Bison clothes :DD I thought this was going to be an announcement of a game where Street Fighter characters duke it out with Hello Kitty characters. :( That's adorable. I myself would like to see an M.Bison Kitty, because if Lego Star Wars can make Darth Vader adorable, then why not Bison? God...... DAMNIT...... Capcom, what the HELL is the matter with you? That's like mixing Strawberry Shortcake with Mortal Kombat! What's the target audience? Is there one? My mind is FUCKED. Pay close attention folks and you'll see the rare sight of a company actually committing suicide.
