Over the past week, you've likely seen a number of alternate costumes for Batman in Batman: Arkham City. The outfits have ranged from The Animated Series to Earth One to Batman Beyond -- holy Batmen, Batman! These are being offered as retailer-exclusive incentives for pre-orders, because that's how the industry rolls these days.
Worry not, completionists with money to burn: the character skins are going to eventually be available for download. "The offer that we're making out with retailers for gamers is, this is an early access opportunity for you," Rocksteady marketing manager Dax Ginn tells Eurogamer.
"Absolutely down the track [the skins] will be available more broadly."
