Yeah, boi! Nintendo Force subscriptions are live
The premier issue of Nintendo Force magazine went on sale on January 11, 2013. How did this new fan-driven venture fare in its first month? Pretty well, actually! It's been sitting pretty in the top spot of the MagCloud shop for some time now, demonstrating that folks still have a jonesing for a solid gaming periodical. By the way, have you scored yourself a copy yet? If you haven't, give my hands-on impression a quick look (spoiler: it's really good), then hit up the order page. It's $4.99 for the digital issue and a rather steep $17.99 for a physical copy. You may balk at that price, but I guarantee it's not some flimsy rag that will fall apart in your hands. If you are ready to continue the NF journey, subscriptions are now available. For $19.99, you can put your name down for a one-year digital-only subscription. For $29.99, you'll be signed up for a one-year print-only subscription. And if you want a digital + print combo, that'll be $39.99. That might be a little more than your typical newsstand subscription, but it's far more reasonable than paying nearly 20 bucks for single issues at a time. And why wouldn't you subscribe right this second? Think of all the talent on board with Nintendo Force, like GoNintendo's Kevin Cassidy, Brawl in the Family's Matthew Taranto, Destructoid's own Jonathan Holmes and Tony Ponce, Nintendo World Report's Neal Ronaghan and Daan Koopman... Waitwaitwait... Tony who!? I think that's a typo. That would mean I somehow sneaked my way onto the staff, and that's definitely not possible. Nope!
