Of course, the DS has its fair share of RPGs (and I am totally fine with that, no matter how many appear on the little handheld), but Avalon Code wins points with me simply because it was made by Matrix Software, who also made Alundra. I quite enjoyed that imperfect little game, so I am interested to hear more about what Avalon Code is all about.
Lucky for me, the newest trailer was also accompanied by the news that the official Web site for the game is now open. You can now read more about the story, check out some seriously adorable character art and even download wallpapers and icons. It comes out on March 3rd, so keep your eye out if you're interested.
Are you maxed out on DS RPGs, or always looking forward to the next good one?
I've had this on pre-order for a while now, but this is the first trailer I've seen of it. I'd be lying if I said the trailer didn't get me pumped for this game, so I'm looking forward to it.
Honestly, the whole reason I wanted a DS from the start was because of the RPGs. I can't get enough of 'em, and this game looks promising so I'll have to check it out.
I love the renaissance that RPG gaming is experiencing via the DS. It's wonderful to see and the entire reason I own a DS (well.. okay, for Ninja Town, Puzzle Quest, and Myst, too).
This looks to be an interesting game; even if I do prefer sprite-based over polygons (although the in-game graphics remind me, nostalgically, of PSX graphics). I'll probably check it out!
I'd like more DS RPGs to tell you the truth. This game looks pretty good graphically, and the music sounds fantastic! I've been looking forward to it for awhile, and I will definitely be picking it up.
Other than perhaps a lack of interesting RPG or collection elements (which are in no way necessary to the game), I'm not sure what was imperfect about Alundra >.>'
And I'm with Wedge. Alundra was a lot better than simply "imperfect". While it wasn't really perfect, that words seems so negative, and the game was really, really good.
This game looks pretty gorgeous. I for one am totally enjoying the sea of rpgs, the one thing I hate tough is the huge amount of turn based old school and totally cliche story and game style. Thank god that within the large amount of those there are some fun unique ones.

As for Alundra, other than some of the ridiculously difficult puzzles, I have no complaints with the game and is one of the best PSX games.
