So, it's Puzzle Agent without the laughs. Eh...it kind of makes sense, considering the comic was a long winded pulp detective/conspiracy thriller. The Ubisoft game took a ton of liberties to make it into an FPS.
But this does sound somewhat like, "We're on a shoestring budget, after getting the license. So, what's the easiest kind of game we can put together in the shortest amount of time?"

This is to be expected, since iOS / smartphone gaming is the fucking worst. The absolute fucking worst.
I'm looking forward to this. XIII could very well work as a interactive story, any fan of the old comic should agree.

I could not tell if that was sarcasm at all. I'm assuming it was because I don't remember the post about Jim having a brain paralyzing stroke yesterday. Anyways I would have liked a 3rd person adventure game as I always thought the first one felt weird as a FPS.
All story based games that dont have a score are interactive stories or movies. Idk why we still call them games, when they arent.

Duh. I mean, it was coming for the iOS, and it was set to release in November! What company reveals a game 1 month before it's release? Of course it wasn't going to be something big.
That's the way the industry's going I'm afraid. Less shooters, more interactive stories and turn-based strategies.
